Korea Computer posted the record high monthly sales in May and expects the record high yearly sales in 2010.

Korea Computer Inc. (KOSDAQ, 054040) announced the financial result of the 1st half of 2010. Sales stood at 164B Korean Won and its operating profit was 5.5B Korean Won. The half year period sales was the best result since 2004 and the total sales in 2010 is expected to exceed 350B Korean Won as the incoming orders continue to grow. The major contributions by customers came from Samsung Electronics, S-LCD, Melfas, and LS Industrial Systems. Especially, the orders from Samsung Electronics showed sharp increases due to strong demand in consumer electronics. August sales of 30B Korean Won was record high in monthly sale since the establishment of Korea Computer in 1994 and the total yearly sales are expected to reach the level of record high in yearly sales.
