Korea Computer Inc. (KOSDAQ, 054040) announced that it participated in the supply chain of Samsung Electronics for the newly developed Android smart devices, Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab. Due to the high popularity of smart phones worldwide, the demand for their production sharply increased and Korea Computer has faced rapid rampup in capacity, shorter delivery lead-time, and higher quality control at the same time. The Touch key PCB assembly for smart phones was main portion of the increased orders. Korea Computer participated in the exclusive supply chain of Samsung Electronics for the 1st mass deployment of Galaxy S for domestic market since it demonstrated the world-class EMS capabilities and long-term credible partnership. In response to the high market demand of smart phone devices, Korea Computer has recently expanded its manufacturing capacities.
