Korea Computer & Systems Inc. (KOSDAQ, 115500) announced that it was selected as the supplier of Door Control Unit (DCU) for the Tunisia train project. KCS will supply DCU to ADS Rail, a member company of Hankuk Fiber and ADS Rail will supply a complete door system to Rotem incorporating KCS’s DCU. KCS has been supplying electrical door control units to many domestic projects and this case is the 1^st overseas project that requires additional quality and safety standard compliance.

Compared against pneumatic DCU, KCS’s electrical DCU demonstrates higher level of safety and reliability and can be applied mainly to train or subway doors.

KCS is in the process of negotiating with Rotem through Hankuk Fiber for supplying DCUs to other overseas projects such as New Zealand and Boston. The total sales from the above three overseas projects is expected to reach 1,140 units, approximately 800 million Korean Won.
