KCS is expanding its customer base to non-financial industries with Thales HSM products.

(Seoul, December 1, 2011) Korea Computer & Systems Inc.(KOSDAQ, 115500) announced that it had made a contract with MOPAS(Ministry of Public Administration and Security) to supply HSM equipment and to build an upgraded authentication system. For the project KCS implemented an advanced authentication system with Thales nShield Connect handling over 3,000 TPS/unit in terms of the RSA electronic signature. Time-stamping for tracking genuine documents and i-PIN encryption have been implemented for MOPAS. In addition, KCS supplied a key management solution to Samsung Electronics’ Mobile Division for code signing to port Bada Operating System on Qualcomm chip. And KOFIA (Korea Financial Investment Association) adopted Thales payShield 9000 to encrypt the stored data and transactions.

 
KCS made a contract with Hyundai Card for supplying a DR(Disaster Recovery) system of the existing Credit Card Authorization System.
KCS developed the first non-financial customer of its CDC(Change Data Capture) solution.
