(Seoul, July 31, 2009)
Korea Computer & Systems Inc. (KOSDAQ, 115500) today announced that it made a supply contract for BIT for Busan city. It followed a supply contract of 280 BITs (1.5 billion Korean Won) on July 21, 2009 for southeastern metropolitan area of Kwangjoo and Icheon. KCS will supply 420 BITs amounting 1.8 billion Korean Won to Busan and the installation will be completed by October 2010.
BIT installed by KCS at bus stations displays arrival time of bus, bus route, and real time road information while BIT installed at subway stations or transit centers displays a holistic view on all buses passing the location. Because the BIT is one of main windows to the public, regional government can deliver a variety of information through BITs.
