Korea Computer Inc. (KOSDAQ, 054040) invested 2.1 billion Korean Won to add more production equipments mainly in response to increasing demand for LED bars and opened another production site located near main production facility in Cheonan. With the expansion, Koreatronics will move medium volume production orders such as inverters for LS Industrial Systems to the new site.
Since the 3rd quarter of 2009, Korea Computer has experienced growing production demand from its customers like Samsung Electronics, especially in the area of consumer display products using LCD, LED, and Touch.
Production orders from existing or new customers for energy-saving green products are also on the increase.
